18 custom brushes that I made to help me sketch and paint in Procreate with lots of highly-textured energy and imperfection. I use these for plein air and observational studies, quick sketches, and design explorations for client work. These brushes are inspired by dry ink pens, dry brushes, and pastels. But instead of trying to accurately replicate those physical mediums, my goal was to create a set of digital tools with a consistent rhythm in mark-making, texture behavior, and brush-feel.
